Bioprocessing through
nanoparticle-encapsulation technology
The second processing technology is concerned with isolating bioactive polysaccharides (PS) from ginseng. While a wide range of health benefits of ginseng PS have been reported; the bioavailability is quite low after oral or topical administration. Our work at WPC employs technologies that allow us to synthesize encapsulated nanoparticles of ginseng PS with enhanced absorption and potency.
